Dear comrades,

About a month ago I sort of came back to DeviantArt after a long period of absence, having to do with a sudden death of my computer. The first few days were harsh indeed, but over time I got used to it and was soon completely rehabilitated from my addiction to the internet. For two months I practically lived without access to social networking, and I tell you there was a whole new world for me. I felt like a free woman! This, no matter how unfashionable it may sound, gave my inspiration a huge boost, and in the past few months I've been living in a creative renaissance of some kind. I've improved so much when it comes to expressing myself through art, creating things that I for once feel reflects my mind and soul, no matter how dopey that sounds hehe. And I enjoy it, in a way I haven't enjoyed drawing since the age of 12.

I hardly draw portraits from references anymore, unless it's a commission, simply beacuse I don't feel like it. By that, my technical skills have probably worsened, but on the other hand I have never felt better about my art. I know most of my current watchers are fans of the musicians I used to portray, and I'm sure many of you don't quite get what the heck I've gotten into lately. It's okay, I won't disturb you any longer. To celebrate this new chapter in my creative life, I've made a new account. Until this moment it's been pretty much unseen, since I still feel exposed showing these close to the heart-works to the world. But sooner or later it had to be done! So if you're fond of my latest work, and not find wierd, miserable children too obnoxious, please follow me at this new account. If you're more into my former work, don't bother to click the icon; I will probably keep this as my main account.

A funny yet sad fact is that the day my computer came back from service, my inspiration withered as quickly as the computer died in the first place. As I'm trying to scale down on the usage of internet, it's slowly coming back to me. This is to honor the comeback of my creativity.

I finally bought my own oil colours the other day! Hopefully it wont take too long before I get started, so be prepared for more paintings in this magnificent medium!

Also, I got 5.000 pageviews a while ago, so once again, I'd like to thank you all for your support, I truly appreciate it : )

..and I feel like I've been uploading a bunch of crap lately, so this is a great time for a change. From now on, I won't upload more than one deviation a week, and hopefully, I will put a little more effort and planning in that one, than I've done in my recent work. I'm sure it'll pay of in the long run. so.. wish me luck!
